05 Engagement Model
From discovery to
live, monitored, owned.
Every engagement ships running code on infrastructure under your administration. No PJA-hosted black box, no migration penalty if you ever bring engineering in-house.
I
Discovery
A two-week walkthrough of the function. We shadow, log every manual touch-point, and quantify hours and error-rate. Output: a ranked backlog with payback periods.
II
Design
Each candidate process is matched to the right tool — Python, UiPath, Power Automate, Power Apps, native API. As-is and to-be flows documented before any code is written.
III
Build
Engineering in two-to-three week sprints, against a frozen historical dataset. Each automation runs shadow alongside the human process. UAT sign-off mandatory before cutover.
IV
Run
Bots on a managed orchestrator. Centralised logging, exception alerts, run history. Failures page the on-call engineer in minutes — not when someone notices a missing report.
